I never thought this day would come and change my life forevermore. Whew, this was such a huge blow and process to adhere to. Words cannot explain nor replace the sadness, emptiness and lonely feeling that I have to face daily, when occasions arise, when your birthday or Mother's Day comes. It bothersome knowing that I can't call, come see you nor receive any communication ever again from you.
I have been struggling to accept and acknowledge this loss and it's been extremely difficult. I miss you dearly and it's painstakingly difficult trying to navigate through this process. I lay flowers at your grave with balloon releases and it really hurts visiting like that; but I do it although I am emotionally heartbroken. I love you unconditionally.

Thursday 2-16-2023 Remembering you now mom as tears flow down my face as we're facing a thunder storm of rain today. It's really painful knowing a year has passed and every occasion has surpassed us; you have been missed. I love you so much and thank you for all of my life's experiences and assisting through challenges and changes. Your grandchildren always reflect on memories of your flashlights during a storm; thanking you for whatever purpose you gave them to us, it came useful. We are thankful for so many memories and when you stayed with us to recover from surgery in 2020. God is able to do the impossible.

I never thought you would leave me so soon; as your departure from earth was so unexpected to everyone. My heartaches every time I pass your old apartments, see Buffalo Wild Wings, Methodist Germantown Hospital. It's a constant reminder of the day before your last day. I didn't get a chance to ask for your last wishes or anything. I miss and love you soooo much that it hurts so bad. Mommy, I am sorry your life was cut short; but I made sure your wait, funeral services and burial was in order. I wish I could have done more for you while you were here; but you loved your independence and I respected that always. Until we meet again; you will be my Guardian Angel over our family. I lost you aunt Thelma and Uncle Pop all less than 2 years and that has been devastatingly mind blowing. 

5-30-2022 Happy Memorial Day in Heaven Mom. No one will miss you as much as I do. I have been angry, sad, frustrated with the world since you departed this life. Because I wasn't prepared for you to go and I had no sense of direction or a will for what to do if something happened to you. I have been a wreck and lost without you; trying to find my way back to my independence. This journey has been hard and I couldn't understand how everything happened so fast and ended; where I didn't realize what was going on. I guess I will never know why it was your time and I just want you back and miss you terribly. My heart aches every time somebody ask me about you; especially those who didn't know that you passed away. It's hard to explain that I don't know what happened. It was God's calling you home; that's all I know. I Thank You Mom for everything you've done for me in life and in death. I could never fill your shoes and will only walk in mine. You had a gift of giving and you served the Lord as well. Your duty is done as well as your  Retirement for 34 years of service. I'm Proud that you were my mom and I memorial you today. We prayed and had a Memorial Balloon Release at your New home. Cousin Vernon Greer passed away May 7, 2022 and now he joins you. I Thanked him in life and death for looking out for you and our family. I Love and will forever miss you dearly Mom. 🌹

Beverly and I had a long standing joke about calling each other one of the singers of the Canton Spirituals group. She would have a big smile when ever I responded,  ‘Hey Lee Williams!’ I will miss her dearly. Rest well!

Beverly was a beautiful person. She was also very feisty and did not tolerate any nonsense! When I used to go downstairs to their house on the 16th floor, she would have her music playing. She was a loving mother who treated us all like her extended family. I will miss Beverly and I pray for comfort and strength for her family. May she rest in peace.

Words cannot explain how deeply sadden and heartbroken to know your no longer with me. I can't accept this loss yet and know that time will heal these wounds; but I'm not there yet.
