Betty M. Evans, 76, of Memphis, passed away Wednesday October 22, 2014. Mrs. Evans was retired from United Methodist Neighborhood Centers and was involved extensively in the ministry of her late husband, Rev. Albert M. Evans, to whom she was married for 49 years. She is survived by her daughters, Carla Smith (Glenn) and Kathryn Norman (Burnie), as well as her grandchildren, Tyler Pattat (Caroline), Prichard Norman, and Emma Kate Morse, and one great-granddaughter, Ellie Mac Pattat. Visitation will be held Friday October 24, 2014 from 12-1pm in the Elmwood Cemetery Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 1pm.
