Asie Phillips, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloise Phillips and brother, Elroy Phillips.

Asie departed this life on August 22, 2022, peacefully in his sleep. He began his spiritual journey at Phoenix Chapel AME Church. He leaves five daughters, Valera Phillips, Amanda Carr, Lawanda Thomas, Jackie Jones and Sharee Burks; three sons, Sammie Phillips, Orlandus Phillips and Alphonso Phillips; one son-in-law, Marcus Thomas; one sister, Mary L Anderson; one brother, Thomas L Phillips; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Phillips, Linnie Wyley and Emma Gray Hailey; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 6PM until 8PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A Celebration of Life will occur on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 10AM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. The interment will be held at New Park Cemetery, 4536 Horn Lake Rd., Memphis, TN 38109.
