On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Mary Jane (Ricchiazzi) Herman loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother of three, passed away at the age of 75.
Mary Jane was born in Buffalo, New York on May 14, 1947 and was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Florence (Livoti) Ricchiazzi. Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Ronald Herman; brother, Frank Ricchiazzi; sister, Edith Ann Calandra; children, David Herman and Jennifer Rabung; daughter-in-law, Kristin Herman; son-in-law, Adam Rabung; and grandchildren, Henry, Lucy and Eleanor.
Mary Jane found passion in her second career as a custom window treatment creator and sewing custom quilts. Her pride-filled work can be found in numerous homes throughout Richmond. Above all, Mary Jane's greatest joys were her family and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 9:00 am, and a funeral service at Church of The Redeemer on Meadowbridge Rd., Mechanicsville, at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
