He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Blunt and Arrillia Wetzler and great-granddaughter Savannah.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Blunt; daughters, Crystal Nuttall and Annette Inge; son, Fred Blunt (Kara); brother, Eddie Blunt; seven grandchildren, Heather Roberts (Jason), Michael Inge, Christy Nuttall, Christopher Inge, Chase Blunt, Chelsie Blunt and Chad Blunt and three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Anthony and Pepper.
Pops loved his family, his ball games and his music.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Woody Funeral Home, Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd. Mechanicsville, Va. 23116 where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, June 12. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
