William Edward Goodwin

Willie was born on March 29, 1949 to Everett Ivy Goodwin and Dorothy Binns Goodwin, in Temple, Texas. He grew up and attended school in Moody, where he met Karen Kennedy, and they were married on July 16, 1969 in Moody. Willie was an avid fisherman and loved slot car racing, golf, and pawnshop picking. What he loved most were his grandchildren.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tommy Goodwin; and sister, Pam Hughes.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Goodwin; daughter, Tracy Sowers and Mike Taylor; son, Jeffrey Goodwin and wife, Jamie; grandchildren, Chloe Walker and husband, Bryce, Logan Taylor, Carlee Sowers, Bristol Goodwin; four great grandchildren; sister, Melissa Pruett and husband, Daren; brothers, Ronnie Goodwin, and Bubba Goodwin and wife, Lisa.
