Wilfred Nolan Jackson was born September 14, 1943 in Mc Gregor, Texas and went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017 at 4:00 AM . He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Jackson (November 1987), mother, LuCretia Jackson (September 24, 2015), and his son Gregory Johnson of Texas. He never married but had two sons, Gregory and Ali of Viet Nam; one granddaughter, Erika Daniels; and two great grandchildren, Jordan and Jayven. He accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior at an early age and became a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was academically brilliant, gifted and a trained aircraft technician. Education: Nolan graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1961, completed Radio Repair and Communications in the U.S. Army- Ft. Knox, Ky, and ACM School of Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX, Advanced Blueprints School-General Dynamics, Special Fasteners School, and Aircraft Sealant School. Some of his work experience included: General Dynamics, Fort Worth, TX, Bell Helicopter International, Bedford, TX, N.H.A. INCORPORATION, Fort Worth, TX, and Barber Point Naval Station in Hawaii, Lear Siegler Inc., Oklahoma City and South Vietnam, and DYNCORP AEROSPACE. He was drafted into the Army in 1965, served one year and eleven months, and was honorably discharged in 1967. For most of his adult life he lived in Germany, Viet Nam, Iran, and Korea.
Nolan, was a dear, loving, quiet-spirited person who to know him was to love him. He leaves to mourn his death two sisters and two brothers, Virginia Jackson, Mc Gregor,TX, Yvonne Renee Jackson-Dodson and husband, Larry Dodson, Las Vegas, NV, Johnny L. Jackson, Las Vegas, NV, and Thommye E. Jackson and wife Coletta Jackson, Mount Vernon, WA; granddaughter, Erika Daniels; two great grandchildren, Jordan and Jayven, Las vegas, NV; and an extended family consisting of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones.
