Robert Wayne Brown

Funeral Services will be 10:00a.m., Thursday, September 4, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West 5th St. McGregor, Texas. Burial will follow in Moody Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, at Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, Texas.

Robert was born February 15, 1949 in McGregor, Texas to William and Mina Brown. He was a carpenter and loved to build things. Fishing was one of his favorite things. Robert was a true jokester, always trying to make people laugh. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Wayne Brown; brothers, James Ray Brown and Leo Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Ann Cochran; children, Sally Brown, Charles Brown and Richard Brown and wife Linda, Stacy Choate and Troy and Chris Cochran and wife Sonia; siblings, Cordice Brown, Billy Joe Brown, John Brown, Nell Baker and Vicki Ash; grandchildren, Dylan Brown, Toby Hill, Alex Brown, Hali Choate, Tyler Choate, Cameron Cochran, and Brayli Cochran; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
