Mr. Billy Guy (Bulldog) Ethridge, age 87, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 in Marble Falls, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2015, 6-8 p.m., at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10 a.m., at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby, Texas with Kyle Futrell officiating.
Mr. Ethridge was born October 2, 1927 to Guy King and Jennie Lou (Moore) Ethridge, in Oglesby, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Oglesby, and he graduated from Oglesby High School in 1946, and served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Following his service with the Air Force, as a Master Sergeant, he worked for the Postal service for 22 years, and farmed and ranched in Coryell County.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marti and Kyle Futrell of Marble Falls; granddaughter, Kyleigh Ann Futrell of Austin; sister-in-law and husband, Marie and Bill Tomlinson of Bryan, and several nieces and nephews.
