Michael was born on September 28, 1966, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Walter and Joyce (McKinney) Moffett. He graduated from Mt. Vernon Christian School in 1984 and founded ASCOM, Inc. in 1994. He leaves behind two children, Mylan Moffett and Mallorie Moffett.
Anyone who knows Michael knows he had a heart for serving his family and friends. He was a grill master and enjoyed the great outdoors. His hobbies included: hunting, drag car racing, and bowling on the Zone and Lotta Bull teams.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Walter. He is survived by his two children, Mylan and Mallorie, his mother, Joyce, his brothers Ronnie, Danny, and Matt, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Rock Springs Church with the family receiving friends at 3 pm EST and the service beginning at 4 p.m.
