Shirley Joyce Knight, age 92, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024. She was born on October 10, 1932 in St. Louis to the late Francis and Flossie Bruno. Shirley was also preceded in death by her loving husband Frank, her son Fred and two brothers Eugene and Bill Bruno. Mrs. Knight loved her large family and also had an open door to everyone. She had a big heart and she was an even bigger Saint. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and and she enjoyed crocheting afghans. She is survived by her eight children, Dennis, David, Edward, Theresa Weems, Richard, Michael (Holly), Lisa and Charles (Jennifer), twenty grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm - 2:00pm before the service. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
