Shelley Ann (Smith) Warr, died April 27, 2021 at the age of 68 in Atlanta, GA. She was born June 16, 1952 in Decatur, AL. She moved to Atlanta in 1956 at the age of 4. She grew up in South Atlanta and Jackson, GA. Her Father, Jim Smith, owned, J.D. Steak Ranch Restaurant on Stewart Ave. Shelley, Graduated from Therrell High School, Class of 1970. Then, Graduated from West Georgia College in 1974, with a Degree in Accounting. Shelley, worked for Williams Brothers Lumber Co., National Linen Co. and Georgia Pacific. She retired in 2008 at age 55. Preceding her in death were her parents, Bessy (Maddox) Smith and Jim Smith and her younger sister, Cynthia (Smith) Hotchkiss. She is survived by her husband, Tommie Ray Warr. Her two daughters, Michelle (Albert) Pettey and Tammie (Todd) Quintern. Grandson Todd Quintern Jr
Step-Granddaughters Morgan and Katie Pettey, and Two nieces Shelby and Stephanie Hotchkiss. Her favorite color was Lime Green. She loved anything with Minions and Penguins on it. She was a big fan of both Nascar and MLB. Tony Stewart was her go to driver for years. The Chicago Cubs, followed by the Atlanta Braves, were her favorite baseball teams. Being with her family brought her the most joy in life. Trips to Biloxi with her husband, movies out with her grandson and gathering for a good meal. She loved eating out with family, Olive Garden and Red Lobster were her favorites. She was a bright, colorful and energetic personally. Shelley, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother… kids called her Nan!
Family was everything to Shelley. She loved her family deeply and they loved her.
