Peggy Ann Hayes

Mrs. Peggy Ann Hayes, age 69 of McDonough, Georgia passed away December 9, 2015. She was born in Augusta, NY to the late William and Estella Tuchowski LaPree. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fisher Hayes, Sr. and by grandsons, William, Brandon and Ryan Hayes. Peggy received an AS degree from Clayton State and was a transcriptionist for 15 years. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, arts and crafts and painting. Survivors include her children, Stacey (Dan) Martin of Dandridge, TN, Rick (Melody) Hayes of McDonough; grandchildren, Kelly Dye, Amberly Morris, Savannah Williams, Madison Hayes, William Hayes and Daniel Hayes; great granddaughter, Obe Henry; brothers, Walter LaPree of Dawsonville, John (Lisa) LaPree of Cleveland; niece and nephew, William LaPree and Roxana LaPree. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Peggy.
