Helen Tarleton Price

Helen Tarleton Price, age 89, of McDonough, Georgia passed away April 2, 2023. She was born September 28, 1933 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Nicholas and Bonnie Faye Steele Tarleton. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert James Price; brothers, Harold Tarleton and Bill Tarleton; sons in law, Brad Rowland and Bob Knight.

Helen was a graduate of Fulton High School, Class of 1951 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of McDonough. She was an interior decorator for many years and owned and operated Helen Price Decorating Service. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen enjoyed sewing, traveling, decorating and cooking.

Survivors include her children, Christy Knight of McDonough, Mark (Dung N.) Price of Milledgeville and Robin Rowland of McDonough; grandchildren, Kyle Knight of McDonough, Kelli (Matt) Sullivan of Stockbridge, Mallory (Scott) Mayo, Mollie (Brandon) Maddox and Leslie (Warren) Tillery all of McDonough; great grandchildren, Nolan, Graham, Chase, Rowland, Emerson, Mercer, Jentry, Truitt and Hart; sisters in law, Darlene Tarleton of Buford and Elaine Tarleton of Sharpsburg; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 - 11:00 am at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
