Gerald LaGrande Stevens

Gerald “Jerry” LaGrande Stevens, 63, of Monroe, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018. He was born in Washington, Georgia on September 12, 1954. Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Franklin Stevens. He is survived by his mother, Betty Stevens and sister, Jill Long (Rhett) of McDonough, Georgia; brother Mark Stevens of Monticello, Georgia; niece Bridgette Luckey (Chris); nephews Brandon Welch (Erica), Kyle Stevens (Ellen), and Clint Long; great-nephews Tristen and Connor Adams and Levi Luckey.

Gerald loved spending time with his family and church family. He was a humble and gentle man. He enjoyed fishing and never missed a Georgia Bulldogs or Atlanta Braves game.

Mass will be celebrated to honor Christ’s victory for His disciple, Gerald at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Saint Anna’s Catholic Church located at 1401 Alcovy Street, Monroe, Georgia. There will be an inurnment at a private family gathering which will take place at a later date at Rest Haven Cemetery in Washington, Georgia.
