Gary Ronald Hardin

Mr. Gary Ronald Hardin, 61, of McDonough, GA passed away on Friday June 9, 2023 after a long and brave battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Darnell (Slaton) Hardin; his brother, Roger Dale Hardin; and daughter, Hillary Anne (Hardin) Wiseman.

Gary was known for his contagious smile and unforgettable laugh by all who met him. He had a passion for dirt track racing and knew how to get around the track and into Victory Lane! He was a man who loved unconditionally and loved his family more than anything else. Gary adored his grandchildren and was known to them as “Paw Paw Gary”. More than any of this, Gary loved the Lord Jesus and didn't mind telling those around him about the Lord's saving grace, unending peace, and the blessed assurance of spending eternity in Heaven.

He is survived by wife, Sally Hardin; father, Melvin Hardin Jr.; brother, Timmy (Dawn) Hardin; son, Brantley (Brittany) Hardin; stepsons, Josh (Dana) O’Hara, Joey (Sydney) O’Hara; Grandchildren, Emma Woods, Brooke O’Hara, Phillip O’Hara, Annsleigh Speer, Dawson Speer, Flint Hardin, Liam O’Hara, and Elena O’Hara; father & mother-in-law, Todd & Deanna Reese; sisters-in-law, Melanie (Dave/Uncle Buck) Brosious, Laura (Stephen Mcgee) Vanvorce, and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
