Francis E. "Tommy" Holland, age 95, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was born to Thomas and Bessie Mae Holland in Mershon, Georgia on May 23, 1927. Tommy was a retired Air Force veteran and a Mason. He enjoyed Bluegrass music, gardening, fishing and playing the guitar. Tommy was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie, son Don Holland, granddaughter Kimberly Holland, brothers, Henry, Edward, Mallard, Jimmy, Walt and Archie and one sister, Lonnie Mae Henderson. He is survived by his, children, Peggy H. Rice of Griffin, son Johnny (Marsha) Holland of Jackson, four grandchildren, John (Anna) Holland, Amy (David) Fountain, Becky (John) Harrington and Tommy Holland. Also, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, two sisters, Marie Vanadoe of Baxley, GA and Jean (Don) Wichmeier of Oviedo, Fl. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm - 1:30pm prior to the service at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia.
