Frances Marie Dodd

Mrs. Frances Marie Dodd, age 75 of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 24, 2018. She was born in Miami, Florida to the late John Wade and Ruth Martin Remillett. Marie was a graduate of Chamblee High School. She was the Assistant Human Resources Director for Snapper Lawn Equipment for 28 years and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, wood working, painting and playing the piano. She played the organ at the church. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Dodd. Survivors include her children, Scott Alan (Sherri) Dodd of McDonough, Genie D. (Derek) Fambrough of McDonough, John Wade (Kim) Dodd of Manchester; grandchildren, Connie Marie Dodd of Senoia, Ashley Nicole Dodd of Sarasota, FL, Ruth Anne Thomas of McDonough, Jessica (Michael) Watts of Monroe, Zachary Fambrough of Covington and Kendle (Dakota) Folds of Manchester; great grandchildren, Dallas Folds and Jadelyn Watts; cousin, Bonnie Runnells of Slidell, LA; mother in law, Viola Dodd of Cumming; sister in law, Martha (John) Clark of Ontario, Canada. The family will receive friends Monday, February 26, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 – 2:00 PM at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
