Mrs. Esther Carol Taylor, age 65 of Jackson, Georgia passed away January 31, 2015. She was born in Mobile, Alabama to William Curtis Darsey and the late Martha Elizabeth Parker Darsey. Carol was a homemaker and attended Rock Springs Church. She was the most happiest when she was with her family. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Curtis S. “Sammy” Taylor of Jackson; daughter and son in law, Andrea Elizabeth Cochran and Chris Cochran of Jenkinsburg; granddaughters, Taylor, Hanna and Savannah Cochran; father, William “Bill” Darsey of Jackson; brothers, Billy Darsey of Barnesville, Donald Darsey of Jackson, Ronald (Denise) Darsey of Griffin and Franklin (Carmen) Darsey of Jackson. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
