Ms. Deborah Susan Veal age 63 of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away June 28, 2015. She was born at Ft. MacPherson, Georgia to Benjamin Jackson Veal and the late Bobbie Lou Brown Veal. She was an honor graduate of Auburn University and an avid football fan (War Eagle!). Debbie was a retired loan officer and was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed golf, bridge, gardening and traveling. Survivors include her father, Ben Veal; companion, Jerry Hallford and numerous other cousins, family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 12:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Reverend Roger Allen will officiate. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
