Bettie Jane Jordan

Bettie Jane Jordan, age 89, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was born in Locust Grove, Georgia to the late Oscar and Martha Snow. In addition to her parents Bettie is preceded in death by her two daughters Martha Jordan and Treasa Ann Strickland and two brothers Oscar Clark Snow Jr. and Owens D. Snow.

Ms. Jordan is survived by her three daughters Debbie Frances (Darrell) Treadwell, Mary Fancy Brannan, and Linda Renee Godwin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several other beloved family members and friends.

Bettie may have been a very quiet person but her love for her family was undeniable. She had a passion for the Lord and attended Locust Grove United Methodist Church. When she wasn't at church or with family she could be found watching baseball, cheering for the Atlanta Braves. Bettie would pass the time with a crossword puzzle, jigsaw puzzle, or wordsearch. She will be missed by her friends and family, especially her daughters.

A visitation for Bettie will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, Georgia 30253. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 12:00 PM at Locust Grove Cemetery, Highway 42 S, Locust Grove, Georgia.
