Ann Elaine McPherson

Mrs. Ann Elaine McPherson, age 65 of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 2, 2019. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Jessie James and Billie Sue Faith Richards. Ann graduated from Fulton High School and then received an early Childhood Education Degree from Atlanta Tech. She worked at Shady Lane Daycare in Atlanta for ten years before moving to McDonough in 2001. She loved to care for kids, cook and vacation in Florida, Ohio and Tennessee. Her favorite color to wear was pink and she was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Dallas Cowboys fan. Ann enjoyed back seat riding on the Harley with her husband. She attended Life in the Spirit church. Survivors include her husband, John McPherson, Sr.; children, Robert King, Paul King, Mya (Ryan) Thomas, John (Shantel) McPherson and Andrea McPherson; sister, Betty Richards; seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 – 11:00 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
