Betty Jo Greene

Betty “Jo Moore” Greene, 60, of Maysville, Kentucky died Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Ms. Greene formerly worked at Pasquales and was a member of the Scott United Methodist Church and attended the Victory Christian Center. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on September 8, 1956 the daughter of the late Jasper Bluford and Aileen Commodore Moore. Survivors include her two daughters, Tina Moore and Mickey Cains (Tommy) both of Maysville, KY; two grandchildren, Naisha Morton and RaeLeigh Chain; one great grandson, Gerin Morton; two brothers, Jasper “Junie” Bluford of Maysville, KY and Houston “Peewee” Bluford of Baltimore, MD; three nephews, Ron Moore, Greg Moore and Tony Moore and one niece, Terry Moore and a host of family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene “Sonny” Moore, Rueben Bluford and Eugene Bluford; four sisters, Elizabeth Ann Moore, Nettie Chambers, Ruby Holmes and Flora Mae Thomas and two nephews, Eugene “Deke” Wormley and Charles Pat Moore. Funeral services for Betty “Jo Moore” Greene will be held at the Victory Christian Center at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2016 with Pastor Byron Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Moore, Ron Moore, Sr., Greg Moore, George Chambers, Jr., Steve Chambers, Jeff Chambers, Dewayne Chambers, Guy Mitchell Thomas and CJ Holmes. Honorary pallbearers will be Carla Slater, Candy Alexander, Bobbi Dawn Alexander, Eloise Greene, Frances Commodore and George Moore. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
