Anthony (Tony) Joseph Ventresca, (A.K.A. Maddog, A.K.A. Doctor Ven'o) of Collinwood, Wickliffe, and later Kirtland, Ohio, passed away September 11, 2024. Born on March 16, 1946. Beloved son of Mary and Luigi Ventresca, brother of Maria Theresa, uncle of Mark Joseph Ventresca, all of Wickliffe, and later Kirtland, Ohio. Attended William H. Brett Grade School (Cleveland, Oh) Collinwood High School, Wickliffe Junior and Senior High School. Attended Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. Graduated in Dec. 1969 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the College Of Business Administration. His career included working at the following: Eaton Yale & Towne (Axle Div. ), Fisher Body - Div. of G.M. (Coit Rd.), Cleveland Crane & Engineering, Addressograph-Multigraph Corp., Picker International Corp., National Acme, Div. of Acme Cleveland Corp., Hupp Company, Lucas Aerospace Corp. (Purchasing), International Gear - Div. of Argo-Tech Corp. (Inventory Control Supervisor), BFGoodrich Aerospace Corp. - Landing Gear Div. (Senior Procurement Agent). In 1995, he penned, authorized, and placed purchase order of two million dollars. He was very proud of this accomplishment and a major highlight in his career.
He retired at the age of " Fifty 50" to enjoy the good life. Funeral Mass will be 11am Saturday September 21st at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd. Kirtland, Ohio where the family will receive friends
