William Butterworth

WILLIAM BUTTERWORTH, on October 31, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte of 44 years of marriage. Loving father of William J. (Linda) Butterworth. Adored grandfather of Lauren and Joseph. Cherished brother of Vincent, Stanley, and the late Irene. William served for the United States Army during the Korean War (1951-1953). William worked as a machinist, airline maintenance for Pan Am Airlines. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. And was also a member of the American Legion Post 950. William was also involved with the Fire Police Volunteer, in Phoenicia, New York during 1985-2000.

~ Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Funeral mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 2 Bayview Avenue, Massapequa, NY 11758 on Monday at 9:45 a.m. ~ Interment to follow to St. Francis de Sales, in Phoenicia, New York ~
