Paul J. Mancini

Paul was the beloved husband of the late Carmelo (Millie) Mancini, married for two years and Sara Scuderi Mancini, married for 42 years. Born in Jamaica, New York, he was the son of the late Lucy (Ruggio) and Ferdinando Mancini. Paul enlisted in the army on February 25, 1946- served as mechanic and was discharged on August 27, 1947.

He also resided in North Massapequa, New York with his wife Sara where they enjoyed socializing with the neighbors, playing canasta and bowling (in the early days). He is survived by his two daughters Lucyann Mancini of Lynbrook, New York and Mary Mancini Fox and her husband Lonny Fox of Land O Lakes, Florida.

Paul also leaves his sisters, Genevieve Zombeck and Annette Vaz and his brother Ferdinando Mancini Jr. He was predeceased by his middle brother Luciano Mancini and his devoted and loving friend, of 16 years, Claire Rinaldi.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life at James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758 on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Prayers will be said at the evening service.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY- Paul and Sara are reunited on their wedding anniversary.
