Mother of 10, grandmother to 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, beloved sister and friend. Loving kind, religious, tell it like it is lady. Her wisdom and common sense always outshined. A gift of when to say the right thing and when it was better to say nothing at all.
Born in brooklyn to James and Mildred O' Rourke. In 1954 , married to Augustus Eugene McDonough. In 1956, moved to Massapequa to raise her family. A devout catholic, she believed family was most important. A founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the ancient order of hibernians, Division 15. Her Irish heritage was her fortitude. She loved a good party with family and friends gathered around her dining room table. Her St. Patrick's Day celebrations were not to be missed. Let us celebrate her with laughter, tears and reflect upon all the good memories she gave us.
