Marjorie Jean Staples

Marjorie J. Staples (Kenroy), 85 years of age passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 after a short illness. Marjorie was born May 25, 1937 in South Riley Michigan to Wellington and Beatrice O’Dell. She was the youngest of seven siblings, four proceeding her in death. Also proceeding Marjorie was her husband, David Staples and son, Kevin Kenroy. She is survived by four children, Randy Kenroy, Ron Kenroy (Charly), Alicia McGinthy (Jeff), Kathy Martin (Steve) as well as 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her foster sister, Darlene Devereaux and many nieces and nephews also survive her.

After retiring from General Motors, Marge was active with the VFW and American Legion. She especially enjoyed square dancing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

A private family burial will take place at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. A celebration of Margie’s life will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Aurelius Township Hall 1939 S. Aurelius Road, Mason, MI 48854.
