Lucas was born in Ionia, Michigan on July 25th, 1976, the son of Paul and Liane Wood.
Lucas has spent the last 9 years working at Dart Container in Mason as a Tooling Designer. He enjoyed going to MSU tailgates and football games with friends, and trips to Lake Michigan with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his daughter Anna; his mother Liane Wood; his brother Adam Wood (Jennifer); his sister Tyler Heydenburk (Jim) and several nieces and nephews.
Lucas was preceded in death by his father Paul Wood.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 South Jefferson, Mason, MI 48854.
Memorial contributions in Lucas's name are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
