Age 84, died January 20, 2017, born October 11, 1932 in Amble, MI to Wesley and Martha March. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie; grandson, Jason; brother, Harold and his wife Doris. Surviving are his daughters, Catherine (Brett) Williams, Martha Kay March; sons, Frank E. (Tammy) March II and Stephen M. (Nancy) March; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Wayne W. (Joanne) March and L.T. (Gwen) March; sister, Betty Sprinkle and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was a loving father and grandfather. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church serving as past president of St. James men’s club as well as a charter member of St. James Knights of Columbus Council. Frank served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked for REO Motors for 25 years. Frank also worked for Wonch Battery since 1975, retiring in 1994.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 26, 11 am at St. James Catholic Church with Rev Kusitino Cobona officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI, with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball Dunn Chapel, Mason, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where the rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm.
