Dorothy F. Shaw

Dorothy F. Shaw age 88 died June 16, 2014 in Eaton Rapids, MI. She was born May 8, 1926 in Mason, MI to Edwin W. and Clara Belle (Butler) Kranz. Dorothy was a resident of Mason all of her life. She was a wonderful homemaker; loved to bowl; was a member of the Eaton County Draft Horse & Pony Club; 4-H leader for several years; inducted into the Farmer Hall of Fame (1989); and was employed with Farm Bureau Insurance for 13 years. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Lewis Shaw; 2 daughters, Carol Shaw and Connie Shaw; 5 sons, Doug (Tami), David, Bob (Debbie), Steve (Troy), and Tom (Pam); 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Stanley, and Walter, Jr.; and one sister, Thelma Hines.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Ball-Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI with Rev. Milan Maybee officiating. Interment will be in Hawley Cemetery, Mason, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-8 PM.
