After the passing of her beloved husband, Glen, she settled in Marysville & became a pillar among the residents of the Wishing Well apartments for the next 15 years. Her life wasn't easy, but her trustworthiness & willingness to help others when she could, served her well in navigating life. One would think that at her age, her kids could just drop by to see her, but it wasn’t that simple. If she wasn't at a family dinner or gathering, she could likely be playing in a pool tournament with one of her kids, pinochle at a neighbor’s house, or having a game day with her friends. Or she might have driven someone from her apartment complex to a doctor's appointment or taken them shopping.
She leaves behind her children Trixie (Gene) Miles, Rick (Robin), Ken (Michelle), & Gerry (Anthony) Duryea, eleven grandchildren and just as many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her dearest friends of many years, Margaret & Barbara.
Her commitment to us left here has been fulfilled. Now she is free to reunite with those who left us too soon, including the love of her life, Glen; her sisters, Mildred & Ann; her eldest child, Ellen; grandsons, Tyler and Shane, & her constant canine companion for the past 14 years, Trinket.
“Heaven has one more angel. Let her fly”
