Stacey Dawn Steagall, 61, of Collinsville, VA passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at UNC Women’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.
She was born in Martinsville, VA on March 29, 1961 to Shirley F. Stone and Everett Jefferson “E.J.” Steagall II. She was a 1979 graduate of Fieldale-Collinsville High School and a graduate of National Business College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Martinsville.
She worked for Bassett-Walker and Panel CDC before becoming disabled.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Richard Steagall of Greensboro, NC, Barry Steagall of Nesconset, NY, and Clinton Stone (Karina) of Annapolis, MD; step-brother Jim Stone (Becky) of Collinsville, VA, step-sister Carolyn Stone of Fork Mountain, VA, a niece Allyson Hallstead (David) and a nephew Randy Steagall (Ellie) of Greensboro, NC.
A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Martinsville. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 and will be officiated by Reverend John Fulcher and Reverend Libby Grammer. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church.
