Linda Ann Tenney

Linda Ann Tenney, 67, of Martinsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born May 22, 1947 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. While living for seven years at Blue Ridge Rehab, Linda enjoyed visits with friends as well as the staff. She always had a smile and a quick thank you for those who helped or stopped to speak. Her daily prayers were for others and might include a lengthy list as she recited each name individually. She was truly a special gift to those who loved and cared for her. Linda is survived by a sister, Nancy Rhudy Sprinkle of Martinsville, two nephews and one niece, along with special caregivers, Sandra Walker, Cindy Hayden, and Bertha Yancey. The funeral service will be 11:30 AM on Saturday May 9, 2015 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville, VA. with Rev. Dr. Thurman O. Echols, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Martinsville, VA.
