Linda Haynes Haynes Handy

Linda Haynes Handy, 76, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016. She was born in Henry County, March 23, 1940 to Allen S. Haynes and Virginia Hodges Haynes. Linda was a 1958 graduate of Drewry Mason High School and also a graduate of Steed College of Commerce. She retired from the accounting department of The Lester Group, Inc. after 27 years of service and was a long-time member of Trinity Friends Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy N. Handy and brothers, Lloyd D. Haynes and Harmon F. Haynes. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Louise Handy Beirne and husband, Ewell of Roanoke and several cousins The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Friends Church with interment to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
