Hazel Jones Jamerson

Hazel Jones Jamerson, age 94, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Mrs. Jamerson was born on January 16, 1927 in Henry, Virginia to the late Beecher Jones and the late Gracie Angle Jones. She was also predeceased by her husband, Roy H. Jamerson, Sr., one sister, Thelma Miles Nolen, two brothers, Bobby Lee Jones and B.J. Jones. Mrs. Jamerson was employed by Dupont for over thirty eight years. She was a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church. Mrs. Jamerson is survived by a daughter, Delores J. Eanes, a son, Roy H. Jamerson, Jr., a brother, Nathaniel Jones, five grandchildren, Crystal Pratt, Jay Eanes, Amy Webster, Lucy J. Dugan, and Hazel Jamerson; five great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Pratt, Logan Webster, Lindsey Webster, Henry Dugan and Harper Dugan. A Floating visitation will be held at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, 109 Broad Street, Martinsville, Virginia on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with a Funeral Service that will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends and family in the Social Hall of Stone Memorial Christian Church following the Interment. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Stone Memorial Christian Church, 3030 Virginia Avenue, Collinsville, Virginia 24078 or Fieldale-Collinsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, 1827 Daniel’s Creek Road, Collinsville, Virginia 24078 or American Cancer Association, 1079 Spruce Street, Suite C, Martinsville, Virginia 24112.
