Donald William Hall, 60, of Laurel Park, Va. passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Donald was born in Martinsville, Va. on September 24, 1963, to Joseph Hall and Annie Hall. He shared this birthday with his twin brother Ronald Hall.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Tony Hall, and his sister-in-law, Crystal Hall.
He leaves behind his brother, Ronald Hall. His niece, Deidre Bunch with her husband, Andrew Bunch and their three children, Alyssa Bunch, Connor Bunch, and Matthew Bunch. His nephew, Joseph Hall with his daughter, Kairi Hall. His nephew, Michael Hall and his mother, Jena Berisford. As well as his aunt, Sara Picker.
He worked in the furniture industry for many years.
Donald was a kind and gentle soul. He was a devoted son, a loving brother, a favorite uncle and a wonderful great uncle to his great nieces and nephews. He was always willing to help anyone he could and he cared greatly for his neighbors. He was always up for spending time with his family and his hugs and “I love you more” will be greatly missed. He loved Michael Keaton’s Batman and his Superman hoodie. He loved Christmas and his red “Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal” sweater was a staple in the family at Christmas time. He loved Halloween, his favorite part was giving out candy from his home. He always knew where the trunk or treats were every Halloween and would make sure his great nieces and nephews did as well. They will always remember him for having a little baggie of candy for them. He will be loved and missed by many.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Roselawn Burial Park.
