Dellie Bowman Martin, 100, of Martinsville, Va. passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was born March 25, 1921 in West Virginia to Jesse Reed Bowman and Nina Boswell Bowman.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Martin; her daughters, Norma Estep and Joan Martin; sons, Jesse and Mike; 3 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughters, Karen Tiller (Jerry), Dianna Murphy, Wanda Martin, Shirley Hodges and Betty Jean Jackson; sons, John Martin, Billy Martin (Alice); 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 22 great great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Minister Tim Woods. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
