Catherine Jackson Compton

She was born on May 15, 1952 in Washington County, Virginia to Charlie Jackson and Maggie Goff Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James, Garnet and Robert Jackson.

She was employed by Springs Global US, Inc. for 17 years.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gail A. Compton of the home, her daughters, Diana Plasters and husband, CJ, of Ridgeway, Michelle Moore and husband, Lee, of Spencer; her sisters, Margaret Watkins of Stoneville, NC and Sharon Helton of Ridgeway, her brothers, Glenn Jackson, Arlie Jackson and Jackie Jackson, all of Ridgeway grandsons, Mason Plasters and Landen Moore and her beloved nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Temple of Faith Church in Ridgeway with Pastor Bobby Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Temple of Faith Church.
