Annie Virginia Hall

Annie Virginia Hall, age 80, died Sunday, August 12, 2012, at her residence on Laurel Drive in Martinsville. Born in Henry County September 22, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Massie Walls and Maude Metts Walls. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Joseph Leonard Hall, who died in March of 2001, sisters, Hilda, Lillian, and Frances, and brothers, Everette, Guy, Gordon, Clayton, Johnny, and William. Annie was a homemaker who loved collecting dolls, flower gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving are three sons, Tony Leonard Hall and Ronald Edward Hall, both of Axton, Donald William Hall of Martinsville, a sister, Sarah Picker of Pylesville, MD, a half-sister, Mazie Eames of Snow Creek, two brothers, Charlie Walls of Brosville and James Walls of Martinsville, three grandchildren, a niece and two nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 3907, Martinsville, VA 24115. All services for Annie will be private at her request. Arrangements are by McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville.
