Carole retired from General Motors in 1998. She was a lifetime member of Greensburg United Methodist Church and served as President of the Greensburg United Methodist Women. She spent many years as the main lead of the Cheerful Workers 4H Club.
Carole is survived by her children: Kenneth Frye, II, Anthony Frye (Wanda), Charlotte Frye Shank (John), Tammy Frye Johnson (Tony), Daniel Moats II (Sylvia) and Diana Moats Marsh (Jeff); grandchildren: Monica Aikens, Kenny Frye III, Jody Rosier, A.J. Frye, John Shank III, James Shank, Tony Johnson, Kristin Johnson, Megan Moats, Thomas Marsh, John Marsh; eight great-grandchildren; siblings: Margaret Canby, Sylvia Shade (Sam), and Nan Roth; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved dog, Penny, who was always at her side.
In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Frye; her second husband, Daniel Moats; son, Curtis Frye; brothers: Kenneth Byers Jr. and Ernest Byers, and daughter-in-law, Cathy Frye.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, July 29 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Shank III, Kenny Frye III, James Shank, A.J. Frye, Tony Johnson II, and Thomas Marsh.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Panhandle or Greensburg United Methodist Church “Kitchen Pavilion Fund”.
