She was born on February 16, 1951 in Leesburg, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Earnest McDavid and Fannie Bell. Betty leaves behind longtime partner of 11 years David Furr; children: Denise Poling of Kearneysville, Preston Miller and wife Kay of Inwood, David Fox and wife Stacey of Winchester VA, Michelle McDavid Hale and husband Tim of Rockville, MD; Stepson: Jerry Dillow of Kearneysville; 12 grandchildren, one brother, 4 sisters, 4 great grandchildren and ,any nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Seal; sisters: Agnes, Ester, Lou, and Cora Lee; brothers: Buck, Butch, Howard, and Sonny.
A visitation will be held for Betty at Rosedale Funeral Home on Wednesday December 8, 2021 from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be at Rosedale on Thursday December 9, 2021 at 1 pm with Burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
