EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Terry Ladon Crowley, age 60, died at his home in Evans, GA, Friday August 24, 2012 of cancer. Terry was born January 2, 1952, to the late Harbert Crowley and Annie Maxine Price Crowley Duffy, at Fort Benning, Georgia. In addition to his mother he is survived by his step-father, R.C. Duffy; companion and best friend Deborah Nye; sister Susan (Loyd) Gulledge of Evans; niece, Emily Gulledge of Augusta; nephews Adam Gulledge (Vicky) of Martinez, Nicholas Gulledge (Melissa) of Warrenville, SC and Devin Gulledge; aunts Merlene Vincent Phenix City, AL, Betty Karamanolis of Matthewes, NC, and Jean Price of Phenix City, AL; uncle, Larry Price (Jan ) of Smith's AL; and several cousins. Terry was preceded in death by his brother Maurice Crowley. The most important decision of his life was when he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Terry touched others with his kind and generous spirit. He cherished time with family and friends and will be remembered and greatly missed by many. Friends are invited to gather for visitation Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Elliott Sons, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez. Funeral services will be held 2PM, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, in the Chapel of Elliott Sons Columbia Rd with the Rev. Dewain French, Pastor of First Pentecostal Church, Grovetown officiating . Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park with military honors accorded by the ceremonial detachment of the U.S. Navy. To show appreciation for the care provided to Terry, the family asks that memorials be made to Pastoral Care, Trinity Home Health and Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, GA 30904.
