Chanda was born in Pensacola, Florida but lived her life in Augusta, Georgia. She attended Hephzibah High School and Harlem High School, where she was known for her infectious personality. She graduated from Hephzibah High School. She was a devoted mother, sister and friend. In her spare time Chanda enjoyed playing softball and dancing. She had a passion for cosmetology. She was an adventurous, daring and free spirit. She was a social butterfly.
Chanda is preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Dianna Buffington. She is survived by her son Joshua Fagan; daughters Kayleigh Buffington and Rebecca Mayo; sister Shannon Davis; grandfather James Allen; nieces Sayla and Sabella; nephew Sage and significant other Jimmy Mayo.
A visitation for Chanda will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
