He was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised by his father in Baltimore, Maryland surrounded by a large and loving Italian family. After Catholic school, Albert went on to University of Baltimore and pursued a career as an Accountant. Al, as he was known to most, met his wife, Pamela, through a mutual friend, and they married in 1979. Al loved watching sports, mostly the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, and Washington Capitals. He shared his love of sports with his family, and he could be found playing many backyard games, such as wiffleball, kickball, and badminton. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters’ marching band, serving as the Treasurer and chaperoning many trips. He also loved a good meal with dessert, a Diet Coke, and a funny joke.
Albert was preceded in death by his father (Albert, Sr.,) his mother (Mafalda) and many extended family and friends. He leaves behind his loving wife, Pamela; and his two daughters, Anne Vance and her husband, Ryan, and Amey Sanders and her husband, Chris. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Natalie (12), Charlie (9), Emery (9), and Bryce (7), who brought so much light into his life.
