Zora “Light of Dawn” Lee Moore, age 90, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter Vickie D. Filip, her sons Randy LeCompte and Larry Fair. A proud grandmother of three grandchildren, Rebecca LeCompte, Brian LeCompte and Mahala Fair.
Daughter of the late Hattie E. Cushall Moore and John H. Moore and preceded in death by her sisters and brothers. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Zora’s care givers Marydith and Leonita for their compassionate care and family support and the staff of Amedisys Hospice.
A private service was held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 . Zora was interred in Westlawn Cemetery.
