Theresa Renee Peyton

Theresa was born on January 15, 2001, in Marrero, Louisiana, and was the precious daughter of Charlie and Philip Franks. From the very beginning, she brought light, laughter, and love to everyone around her.

Affectionately known as “Ree Ree”, Theresa was known for her beautiful red hair and freckles that everyone adored. Her radiant smile and contagious laughter could light up any room, and she brought pure joy to everyone she encountered. She loved being outdoors and had a deep affection for the water—whether it was a beach day, a boat ride, or simply soaking in the sun.

A devoted daughter, loving sister, and cherished friend, she was a guiding light in the lives of many—especially to her younger brother, Kaleb Franks, with whom she shared a deep and unbreakable bond.

Theresa leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her parents, Charlie and Philip Franks; her brother, Kaleb Franks; her beloved grandparents, Joyce Franks, Russell Anthony Guidry, and Dee Kelley; and a close cousin who was more like a sister, Aliyah Marie Sardina. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Cheryl Guidry and Earl Franks, whose memories remain forever cherished.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses and doctors who cared for Theresa with such compassion and dedication. Your kindness brought comfort and peace when it was needed most.

Theresa’s presence was a gift—gentle, joyful, and deeply kind. Her laughter, warmth, and “Ree Ree” hugs will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.
