Ruth Ann Lacoste

Ruth Ann Gauthier Lacoste was born on November 4, 1929 in Moreauville, Louisiana and she passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was the beloved wife by first marriage to the late Eugene R. Lacoste for 41 years and by second marriage to Ernest E. Massey, Jr. for 15 years. She was the loving mother of Kim M. Lacoste, Keith G. Lacoste (Penny), Geralyn L. Prestridge (John) as well as the devoted grandmother of Lauren A. Lacoste, Lance A. Lacoste, Drew T. Prestridge and Aimee R. Prestridge. She was the daughter of the late Landry Louis Gauthier and Nora J. Fouchaux and the sister of Ruby G. Bilello (Charles). Ruth graduated for Moreauville High School, Moreauville, LA and from Southwestern Louisiana in 1950 which is now University of Louisiana, Lafayette, LA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics. She was employed by Avoyelles Parish School Board in Marksville, LA, St. Pius X, Beaumont, TX and Christ the King Catholic School in Terrytown, LA. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for over 40 years, Christ the King Women’s Club as well as Ombudsman in Jefferson Parish.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Rd.,Terrytown, LA on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
