Raymond Joseph Arceneaux Jr.

Raymond Joseph Arceneaux Jr. passed away peacefully in his home on July 27th 2022. He was 66 years old. The loving father of Sheila Arceneaux West (John) and Raymond Arceneaux III (Natalie) and his fur baby Xena. He was known as Paw Paw Raymond to his grandkids Shawn Lefort , Ryan Lefort, Austin Lefort, Raymond Arceneaux IV, and Reece Arceneaux and 2 great grandchildren Shawn and Octavia Lefort. He is the brother to Linda Zar (Clark), Joann Landry( Harold) and Cathy Orgeron (Robert). Son of the late Rose Mae Benoit Arceneaux and Raymond Arceneaux Sr. He was a dear friend of Robbin Taylor and Danny Burgess. Survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunt's, uncle's, other relatives, and friends.

Native of Marrero,La for 66 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and gardening. He had a profound love for the New Orleans Saints, LSU,and the Pelicans. He was a fire chief for the Marrero Ragusa Fire Dept for many years, the owner of Raymond's Lawn Services, and worked many years at Buster Hughes -Transcoastal and Zatarains - McCormick.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Westwego on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, from 8:30 AM until 10:15 AM on Monday. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cememtery.
