Ramona "Mona" Marie (Acosta) Tuschl

Ramona "Mona" Marie (Acosta) Tuschl, age 86, of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, surrounded by all the love of her family. Mona was born September 14, 1935. She was the beloved wife of Marvin Tuschl Sr. for over 63 years. Mother of Marvin Tuschl Jr. (Pam), Ray Tuschl (Stephanie), Jim Tuschl (Ellen), Mary Kass (Sal), Colleen Tuschl, Brian Tuschl (Lyndi), Vicky Prunty (Stephen), and Troy Tuschl. Grandmother of Brandy, Paul, Kevin, David, Scott, Dale, Travis, Jacob, Austin, Little Jimmy, Robert, Chris, Tommy, Ryan, Amanda, Jason, Sarah, DeLanie, Gabriel, Anna-Grace, Roman, Ethan, as well as 21 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Ramon and Marie Acosta. Sister of Fran Poche and the late Buddy Acosta. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She met the love of her life in Jackson, MS. His favorite memory of her was in a particular polka-dot dress. She loved her annual Easter crawfish boils with all her family. She was a very special wife, mother, and maw-maw. Her pride and joy was her family. She was taken from us too soon.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. In lieu of flowers donations to ST. Michael's School.
